Technology and Science Photography

So it might not be the most glamorous side of photography, but the science and technology industry is an amazing canvas for photos. The toughest part about photographing in a lab is typically the practical lighting. The easiest way around this is to use your own lights and turn off practicals. Practicals meaning any light fixture that is there. My approach for a lot of shoots in these environments is to make the images look balanced and not too “CSI” feeling. Keeping shadows relatively even and color balance as the main priority.
