Here is a quick and easy tip for emails that I’ve been using forever. Whether you have a photography business or ANY business this can help you stay organized. To keep notes about projects I keep my notes within the email chain. For instance.

I have to set up a time for an editorial shoot. I’m on the phone and need to write the address down. I could easily take the pen and paper and write it down, or even use Notes on the iPhone. But even easier and more clerical you could say, I email myself within the email chain about the project.

Now I have the address in the email chain where it should have been all along.
