Italian for Lucky | Food Photography from Above

Some great friends just opened a new restaurant in Downtown Roanoke called Fortunato. It’s incredible, to say the least. Working with them on some photography I had an idea. Tall ceilings + large picnic table + Italian food = Photo from above of course.

Here’s the outcome.

Here is a BTS image of how we did it. Using C stands and an extra arm we rigged the camera as high as we could. Then they ate!
